Our Fuze Night August edition featured the folks that are building social movements in Singapore and beyond. Martin Tan, from SMU's Institute of Societal Leadership, talked on what it takes to lead society. Mizah Rahman and Daniel Ong talked on engaging communities to different ways to make them stronger. Lastly, Paul Foster shared his journey's into philanthropy from a personal space.

Together with an artist Calvin Tay, Kari Tamura founded the SAMASAMA initiative - which aims to reshape the narrative from sympathy to empathy for migrant workers in Singapore. She shared learnings from the engagement with migrant workers, partner organization HealthServe and the process of creating the exhibition in Westlake Dormitory.

Scott developed Paint the Town Red to raise awareness of HIV amongst youth in Singapore. Statistics indicate that low testing rates are especially prevalent amongst heterosexuals, and youths surveyed stated that they know very little about HIV support services.

Fuze Night March 2016
